Basement Hosted Uranium
The Black Birch Property is located approximately 20 km due south of the Proterozoic Athabasca Basin.

Exploration began in the early 2010s when a government airborne radiometric survey highlighted one of the largest airborne radiometric anomalies in the region surrounding the southern Athabasca Basin.

The property was acquired by DGRM in 2014 and a half-day site visit on was undertaken to prospect areas of anomalous radioactivity located within the property. Five samples were collected, all with anomalous radioactivity, ranging from 10 to 1,610 ppm U.
Un-tested EM conductor(s) adjacent to radioactive (uranium) anomalies are prospective for basement-hosted unconformity-related uranium deposit.
