Haynes stellite

Strata bound mafic exhalative

containing cobalt and rare earths

The Haynes Stellite Project is an early stage Cobalt/REE accessible by road approximately 70 km west of Salmon, ID.

The Project falls within the Idaho Cobalt Belt next the RAM Deposit. The Ram Deposit surrounds the historical Blackbird Mine which was the only primary cobalt mine within the USA until its closure in 1968. The Ram Deposit contains 3.48 Mt @ 0.55% Co, 0.75% Cu, 0.531 g/t Au (M+I Resources).

The property itself contains the historic Haynes Stellite mine. Reports indicate historic workings averaged about 1% cobalt along a mineralized zone approximately 1500 m long and 20 m wide. This zone has also shown REE mineralization potential with one sample from Slack (2012) containing:

  • 1,900 ppm Y

  • 2.580 ppm Dy

  • 1,900 ppm Er

  • 1,740 ppm Yb
